• All rates based on $45/hour charge. Prices are negotiable on a per-project basis.
• Quote will be provided before any work will start.
• Quote will include initial setup and minimal changes/corrections only, client directed revisions beyond original specifications may be subject to extra charges, billed at $45 for each additional hour. The client will be notified if extra charges will be necessary.
• A payment of 30% of quote is needed up front before work can commence.
• Minimum charge is $45.00.
• If travel over 1/2 hour is necessary, a charge of $20 per half hour applies.
• Whenever possible I use my own original photography in my design work, for which I charge a one time fee of $30 per shot (retouch not included), with no additional royalties required. However, if commercial stock photography is necessary, client is responsible for any acquisition, licensing and royalty fees that may apply.
• Rush fees: for the most part, I do not charge rush fees. I am no stranger to tight deadlines, that is just part of the job. However, certain extreme circumstances may warrant an extra fee; such as unexpected same-day turnaround causing me to have to stop work on other projects, or an unanticipated next morning deadline that necessitates me working late into the night. In cases like these I may add a rush charge beyond my normal charges up to, but not exceeding, $45 an hour.
• All client work proofs provided free via e-mail as PDF files unless color proof hard copies are specified (color proof and delivery charges will apply).
• Color proof (photo quality inkjet on high quality stock) prices:
• If client or printer requires files archived to CD or DVD, a $10 disc charge applies.
• Electronic transmission of final print files to production destination= $5.
• Client is responsible for all charges related to print production, internet hosting, mailing, publication submission, or any other distribution of finished media. Client will pay those vendors directly. If requested, I will attempt to find the best value for the client by obtaining multiple quotes from different facilities. I can make no guarantees about the quality of a finished product if client opts to use a vendor that I am unfamiliar with, although I will make every effort to make sure the final product is satisfactory.
• Final invoice can be provided to the client via e-mail or USPS, whichever is preferred.
• Final payment expected no later than 30 days from invoice date.
